Annual Social:  The Annual Social was held Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Yacht Club.  There was a nice turnout with approximately 65 in attendance.  Six (6) new couples were welcomed into the Club. 

A “Thank You” was given to Chuck and Terry James for coordinating the club’s part in the lake cleanup and to the volunteers who participated on March 20th.  Several ideas were presented for possible future club activities throughout the year and members were asked to sign up if they would be interested in participating.  A drawing for door prizes was held. 

We are 1/4th of the way into 2010 and our club does not have volunteers in key leadership areas. . . it’s time for some “new blood” to keep the Illinois Club going.  There are already several activities proposed for the remainder of this year and we have volunteers to organize the annual picnic – this would be a good time to take your turn!
